It all began with a dream,  a word from the Lord, and a community of leaders ready to obey.

 

A few years ago, Kris Vallotton, Senior Associate Leader of Bethel Church, was deeply impacted by a TED talk by Dr. Brené Brown titled The Power of Vulnerability. In her talk, Dr. Brown shared that we are all neurobiologically wired for connection and relationship. She emphasized that the greatest core need of every person is to feel like they belong. Around the same time, Kris came across a powerful quote by Robin Williams: "I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel alone." Yikes!

A year later, Kris woke up in the middle of the night with a decree from the Lord: "Create a place where leaders can belong." He shared this word with our team, saying through tears, "We must create a culture where leaders feel at home—welcomed, honored, celebrated, and known." The team was immediately on board.

We quickly realized this mandate required something entirely new—a structure designed to carry the weight of the call. After months of dreaming, praying, and planning, Bethel Leaders Network (BLN) was born.

Today, BLN is emerging as an apostolic family of leaders equipping generations to transform culture and shape history. Together, we’re building a place where leaders truly belong.

As part of the greater Bethel family, we express the heart and culture of our home. We are revivalists, passionate about seeing God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We are courageous visionaries who have experienced the manifest presence and goodness of God. We’ve been transformed by His Spirit and found our tribe in Bethel.
