No matter how big we become as leaders, the most profound truth remains—Jesus loves us. Discover how to grow daily in the awareness of His love!
“Jesus loves me,” is a children’s song we never want to grow out of. It is the most simple, yet profound truth for us all to orient our lives around. No matter how big we become as a leader, receiving this simple truth everyday is our most important calling, and will have the most profound impact on all we do.
So how can we grow everyday in our awareness of His great love for us? What if we haven't felt unconditionally loved by our father, mother, sister, brother, or friends? Experiencing His incredible love for ourselves through the Holy Spirit is paramount, especially when we don’t have a good frame of reference from family.
Similarly, simply ‘knowing’ His love in all its fullness is not meant to only be intellectual knowledge, or a one-time event. Our personal relationship with God is like lovers, who are in pursuit of each other everyday.

How can we experientially know God?
- We can start simply by spending time meditating on His word, spending time in prayer and worship, or simply sitting down with a cup of tea and turning our affections towards him on our favorite couch. This Lent season, take time to meditate on the cross and God’s great love that would go to such lengths for the ones He cares for.
